“Vegas in Space” is a 1991 cult film, described as a campy, psychedelic, and loving homage to 1950s and 60s B-movie sci-fi. The movie features a predominantly all-drag cast and tells the story of a group of astronauts who undergo a sex change to infiltrate a women-only planet named Vegas in Space, where they must dance to save the universe. 

The plot concerns three male space travelers who must become women in order to complete a secret mission on the all-female planet Clitoris. Deliberately campy, the film was written by Fish, one of Sydney’s and San Francisco’s notable drag queens. It was released by Troma Entertainment.
