TAP Gallery, 259 Riley St Surry Hills, Sydney

A group photographic show curated by Herb Ascherman and Len Metcalf, comprising works from Cleveland Photo Festival (USA), and students of Len’s School (Aus/NZ). It is inspired by John Szarkowski’s concept that photographs fall somewhere on the continuum from ‘public to private concerns’ or ‘mirrors and windows’.

Opening Event: Saturday 12th November 4pm for artists talks, drinks, nibbles.

Abstract Photography Workshop: Tuesday 8th November 4pm $50, limited to 30 patrons, tickets via headon.org.au/events

‘Photographs as Mirrors’ Presentation: Wednesday 9th November 2pm. Free,Len Metcalf discusses how photographs can be windows and mirrors.
