There will be live entertainment, wonderful arts & craft, vintage clothing & jewellery and much more. Call on 0400610440 to book a small table for $25 (or $15 if you bring your own small table). A Ltd number of std trestles avail on first come basis book one trestle for $40.The event will go until late as TAP’s end of year celebrations for staff & friends. Please put this in your diary! ARTISTIC CATCHUP GROUP 21 – 27 October, opening Tues22 @ 6pm. Artists talk Sunday 27th 22pm

The Artistic Catchup Group is a collective of some 20 emerging artists from the Greater Western and Blue Mountains area.

The group first met up at the beginning of 2019 under the guidance and mentorship of former head of painting and drawing, Shadee Selim. It was his vision to bring former students and like-minded people together and create a dynamic environment in which all could be inspired to start their visual arts practice once again.

Together, the group has worked hard, inspiring and encouraging one another and building on this vision to create a strong group of creatives, each working on their own ideas and themes, developing their own unique style. The result is a large collection of visual artworks that celebrate courage and commitment, talent and diversity.

It is with great pleasure that we share this diverse and exciting range of works with all those who visit TAP Gallery.

We warmly invite you to view works on exhibition from Monday 21st until Sunday 27th October, 2019.

A new, one-off dedicated art prize for Australian Aboriginal artists.

Not only do finalists get to be seen in Sydney, but the winner then gets transported to California (just as interest in Aboriginal art is zooming in the US following the Gagosian show of Steve Martin’s collection) with the chance to create an artwork there for the Ventura community. This is the Vita Art Centre’s 2019 iteration of its pioneering  Global Artist Initiative, which in the past has involved Cuba, Mexico, Afghanistan and North Korea

Initially, images of 5 artworks should be entered, but only one will then be selected for Sydney. In California, up to 15 paintings (no 3D works) will be shown – shipping at the Global Artist Initiative’s expense.

Hope you can quickly inform your membership. Closing date for entries is 31st July.
