‘Open 24 Hours’
‘Open 24 Hours’ is a book of poems by Robert Balas, based on the colourful and eclectic character of this unique area, illustrated with over 40 paintings and drawings by local artists.

'Open 24 Hours' is a cross genre book, not only about Kings Cross and Darlinghurst, it is also about art and poetry offering the reader another exciting reality. All you need to do is look for the connections in imagery between the poems and the paintings. All artists are Darlinghurst and Kings Cross devotees, having exhibited in galleries, arts-minded restaurants, cafes and clubs in these locales. The poetry pays homage to the colour, comedy and eclectic character of what is essentially Darlinghurst and King Cross in 2005.Come to Tap Art Gallery and find the poet, Robert Balas, for an inscribed book at 1/278 Palmer St, Darlinghurst. You can pick it up for $30 before it hits the book stores.

Available from Tap gallery for $30.
